Joining the Fellowship
Membership & Covenant Partnership
Joining the Fellowship is a straightforward process — complete the linked application and process your membership payment via the International website. We’re excited to welcome you into a community where every ministry is valued.
Q If our church joins, do we have to change our name to “Full Gospel”?
No. Your church keeps its own name and identity — the Fellowship simply asks that you note your affiliation with FGBCF somewhere in your church’s description.
Q Must we leave our present affiliation to be part of the FGBCF?
No. We are a Fellowship that comes together to fellowship with the Lord and each other — you can very well do both. We believe it’s important that the “walls of tradition” come down, and we welcome others to see what God is doing through the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship as we come together in One Spirit in the Body of Christ.
Q What must a church or pastor do to become a member?
You must be part of the Body of Christ, participate in Covenant Partner giving, and make a debt-free pledge of any amount:
- Each church is asked for continued support through Covenant Partner giving of $120/month ($50/month for Senior Pastor Only).
- Alternatively, a church can meet its commitment by asking 12 members of the congregation to each give $10/month.
- Each pastor is also asked for continued individual support through Covenant Partners at $120/year.
Q When does the Covenant Partner reporting period run?
The Covenant Partner reporting period runs from July 1 through June 30 each year. Every annual Conference begins a new Covenant Partner year.
Q What about pastors who are just getting started?
Special Plan Pastors give $30/month, which covers the pastor and immediate family. This is a temporary plan — after one year, Special Plan Pastors graduate to Senior Pastor Only or Pastor & Congregation. This one-year period is not tied to a strict twelve-month calendar; it begins anew with each annual Conference and Covenant Partner year.
Q Are women welcome to pastor within the Fellowship?
Yes. In the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, we affirm that God’s call knows no gender — women pastors are welcomed and celebrated as powerful voices in the Kingdom, whether leading, building, or boldly walking in their divine assignment.
Q Does our church have to give up its own identity or worship style?
No. The Fellowship honors your church’s distinct culture, worship style, and traditions while walking in unity with others toward Kingdom advancement.
